I am searching using coordinates based in Michigan USA and getting results in the UK.

This is happening to me as well. I am searching in UT and sometimes getting results in the UK or in other states. It appears to be random. Sometimes it works and other times, it doesn't. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that including the city and state in the query resolves the issue. If Google ignores the lat, long, it has no choice but to honor the location in the query.

Looks to be happening again. This time Michigan USA search results come back for southern California, https://serpapi.com/searches/5f04837014b0f14af28ae0cc/inspect

Lime Football: Hi Steve,
I went ahead an re-documented this internally so we can look into this instance for you.
We released a patch for this sometime back but we noticed a strange behavior with Google when we were investigating it. It seems that Google more or less ignores location parameters like
uule
for certain, general keyword (the example then was with "freezer"). In cases where Google does ignore it's own location parameters, it then seems to choose the location based on IP.Unfortunately Google also doesn't do this consistently either, making it tricky to pin down for sure. Sometimes amending phrases like "near me" to the search term can help convince Google to not ignore it's own location parameter.
We'll give you an update once we find out more about this instance but this is where we've gotten with the issue thus far.

This does not happen all the time. Most of the time the results are accurate.
