For some searches Google outputs links that point to Google's redirection page:
https://www.google.com/url?q=
.We'll extract actual URL in this case and output it to the

Illia Zub Thank you!
I just noticed that I missed the ending question in your Jul 27 message -- apologies about that. We were getting ~50-80 keywords every week for buggy search URLs, but they looked fine using the SerpApi Playground. They were only visible in my saved results (https://serpapi.com/searches). Since you can't search for a specific keyword+device combination in that dashboard, I just clicked through multiple pages. That tedious process was why I only presented one example of each, but if it would still be helpful to you to have more examples at this point I can definitely do that!

Are you still encounter buggy
link
fields in the JSON response?M

Illia Zub: I meant before the fix -- not aware of any new bugs on our end. However, I'm looking at your second screenshot below and wondering... should that first underlined, fixed link "https://www.google.com/url?q=https://careerfoundry.com/en" actually be "https://careerfoundry.com/en" without the google.com portion?
To clarify, we are still receiving search URLs but they do not start with "/search" because you've added the full http://www.google portion to the front
Illia Zub
Mina C: Yes, we can remove
https://www.google.com/url?q=
portion. I'll reopen this bug and we'll implement this feature.Explanation
For some searches Google outputs links that are redirected via Google's redirection system:
https://www.google.com/url

Added Google domain prepending to the
link
in case it doesn't contain URL schema and domain. The fix was deployed at July 31.Illia Zub
Mina C I couldn't reproduce buggy links like
/url?q=https://www.coursereport.com/blog/ui-ux-design-bootcamps-the-complete-guide&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiInI7sxNfqAhXXZc0KHZPOCB8QFjAAegQILhAB&usg=AOvVaw3Wli2PT811Yg6RBfftEbex
. I'll add extra check and code and add tests to make sure links start with http
instead of slash.Links in I've tried start with
https://
and point to the valid pages: What other searches contain incorrect search URLs?

We're already fixing the AMP links in https://serpapi.canny.io/bugs/p/missing-amp-from-organic-results.
Search URLs will be fixed here.
